QUOTES FROM STUDENTS
"In Brenda's creativity workshop I had many epiphanies. I saw how my artistic and
personal patterns were and are linked - how when I alter one sphere I affect both.
The creative process is often so mysterious to us. I highly recommend Brenda's
workshop and the work of becoming more aware of the forces that
affect our personal and artistic choices." AK - author
"Brenda rocks. She's smart AND nice. She patiently but pointedly implores
all of her students to face their patterns, both personal and artistic
so that they can also rock." Andrea - writer/performers
"Exploring the creative process and moments of choice helped clarify my overactive and somewhat scattered use of energy in my creative -expression. The group discussions made me aware of issues I didn't see in myself until they were articulated by other class members.
Brenda guided the class in an organic process with homework and weekly outlines that were insightful and thought provoking. I recommend this class for anyone who is struggling with finding fulfillment in their creativity."
Angela, filmmaker and editor
FROM BRENDA... I have a passion for helping you find your creative path through writing and connecting that work with current and exciting venues and publications.
Also, I did my Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in the psychology of creativity, and between my work as a performer, teaching artist, composer
and writer, I've taught workshops and seminars over the past 6 years.
I'm dedicated to the process of bringing out the process and
results from your unique creative viewpoint.
In teaching, my talent lies in the following:
1) positive collaboration in identifying patterns
2) finding ways for you to stretch the comfort zone
3) techniques for everyday living that support your creative work
4) providing a safe yet stimulating environment to encounter old and new ideas of your self in context of your creative work.
